Leisure Management students from Stow College have recently been working with Quarriers Stopover Project and the Fundraising Department to run an event as part of their course.
The students were supported in the running of an abseil at the Glasgow Climbing Centre to raise funds to take some of the homeless young people from Stopover to Blairvadoch Outdoor Centre for the day.
Quarriers also benefited from a donation of over £1,000 from the event and we hope to be able to build a similar relationship with next year's students.
If you require any assistance with event management or require to run a similar type of event for your course please email bryan.mccall@quarriers.org.uk
