Quarriers is now seeking like-minded corporate brands to work with us on over 100 separate projects that offer tangible benefits and a return on investment for doing so.
Our principal corporate programme is the Scottish Epilepsy Centre (SEC) capital project.
The new purpose-built SEC will be fully integrated with the Institute of Neurological Sciences at Glasgow’s Southern General Hospital, operating at the epicentre of residential epilepsy assessment.
This will combine Quarriers’ existing specialist service with one of the world’s finest neurology teams, allowing access to emerging clinical practice greater multi-disciplinary input and state of the art MRI, CT Scanners and other high-tech diagnostic facilities.
The facility will be fully sustainable and play a key role in reducing Scotland’s 39,000 epilepsy sufferers, of who 26,000 have their condition controlled through medication and some 9,000 have been misdiagnosed. There are more Scots deaths from epilepsy than die of AIDS, Hepatitis, Meningitis, TB and cot death combined.
