Conquer America’s infamous Death Valley by bike in aid of Quarriers. Over eight days you’ll experience the literal highs and lows of the United States. Cycling through 130 miles of awe-inspiring National Park desert landscape, you’ll be surrounded by majestic mountain peaks. You’ll form friends for life along the way and finish basked in the glory Las Vegas’ bright lights.

Gear up for the Death Valley Cycle Challenge

Register for £399. Minimum sponsorship required is £3,150. Various dates are available for groups of 15-30 people. Supported by Quarriers motivational events team and designed for basic levels of fitness.

Death Valley National Park is located in the South California Desert in Nevada. Many people overlook the park due to the misguided belief that it is lifeless, but this 3.4 million acre park is not only the largest park in the USA, but arguably the most striking specimen of Mother Earth - Join us on this incredible adventure challenge as we conquer 420km of Death Valley by bicycle!

The Valley itself is 130 miles long, between 6 and 13 miles wide and is surrounded by steep and beautiful mountain ranges. Our cycling challenge will highlight the most dramatic and most interesting sights of the region including awesome views of both the highest and lowest elevation locations in the contiguous 48 states of the USA. In addition, our cycling challenge sees us finish in the bright lights of Las Vegas, where we celebrate our challenge achievements.

The Key Facts:

  • This is an 8 day challenge
  • Spend six days cycling through the heart of the infamous Death Valley, visit both the highest and lowest points of the USA and end up with the bright lights of Las Vegas
  • There will be 15-30 people in our group, some come with friends but many travel alone
  • The cycle is designed to be achievable by anyone, but remember the fitter you are the more you will enjoy this Challenge
  • This challenge takes place at heights of over 5000ft and covers over 420km cycling distance
  • This Challenge is not just about the cycle itself. It’s also about raising money for Quarriers, one of Scotland’s leading social care charities. You will have full support and advice from Bryan and Jen. We’ve done this all before and know how to make your fundraising an easy, fun and sociable experience
