Quarriers What If Female Service

What If Female is one of Quarriers’ youth housing support services that offers therapeutic support young females ( age 18-26) in project flats. Project service is commissioned by Glasgow Homelessness Partnership. Young women we support are referred to What If by Care Managers, Addiction Workers or similar agencies.

The support in the project is a high level of support due to complex needs of young women. The women often experienced history of homelessness, trauma and substance misuse.

As project we recognize their complex needs and our support is based on person centered planning and no exclusion approach. We concentrate on young peoples’ strengths accepting them who they are and listen to them.

Our Team consists of project workers and managers who share the same social care value base. We believe everybody should be respected as a unique human being with different needs.

Project offers to women project flats in which they can live independently as long as they use the service. The flats are based in Maryhill, Summertown, and Possill area.
