Befriender for Paula
Supporting people in Cumbernauld, Kilsyth and Moodiesburn.
Cumbernauld Supported Living project is for people with learning disabilities, physical disabilities and acquired brain injuries. Supporting 17 people in the Cumbernauld, Kilsyth and Moodiesburn areas.
Main tasks would include to build up a friendship with Paula, including engaging in activites that Paula enjoys such as going out for lunch, going on night outs, watching DVD’s, card making and a variety of other activites that Paula enjoys. Also to encourage Paula to engage in new experiences.
Would be beneficial (for Paula) if person who volunteers can drive. Paula has her own vehicle.
Have to be able to support Paula at her pace. Have a have a clear understanding of Paula’s support needs. Female applicants only.
