What is the Helpline?

The helpline is a contact point, helpline@quarriers.org.uk for enquirers wanting to know about the records held by the organisation since the 1870s when William Quarrier opened his first night shelter for Glasgow street children.

If you yourself used to stay in the Homes - or you are enquiring to assist a former resident - then follow this link to find out how to request access to your record. Read more

If you are a descendent of a person who stayed here, you can apply for a copy of the records for which there is a £25 fee from here - or you can make an initial enquiry without charge to confirm that your ancestor was resident here- please fill out the basic enquiry form.
