‘Home is where the hurt is’
BBC Scotland 'Home is where the hurt is' shown on Tuesday this week investigated whether more children should be taken away from their families and into care.
The programme showed the ground-breaking work Quarriers family centres are doing with families in Glasgow and the results we continue to achieve.
Mary Glasgow, Quarriers Service Manager for Children and Families who was featured in the programme said “… resources should be available to help families and what we have found is that the quicker you get involved with children and their families, the younger the children are - the better it is long term.
