clyde zip wire

Slide the Clyde

15th May 2004

Graeme McGowan, Marketing Manager from Communications Company Stevenson Sharpe, is conquering his fear of heights by taking part in Quarriers Slide the Clyde on Sunday 30th May 2004. This exhilarating zipline from the Finnieston Crane over the River Clyde to the Pacific Quay in central Glasgow will raise valuable funds for Quarriers.

Graeme, has signed up for the event this year along with four of his work colleagues to go ahead with the zipline.

Although Graeme has done a parachute jump before he says he is still slightly nervous. 'The hardest part will be climbing up the stairs, but I'm looking forward to the day and want to raise the money for Quarriers. I'll have a crowd of people from work there to support me.'

Quarriers still has places left in this exhilarating challenge. If you are interested in this zipline and would like to book one of the last few remaining places please call 01505 610017.

For information on Graeme's zipline or one like it contact Bryan McCall: on 01505 616017/ bryan.mccall@quarriers.org.uk
