New date Saturday 4th September 2004
Due to adverse weather conditions Quarriers have made the difficult decision to postpone their annual Gala Day which was due to be held on Saturday 21st August 2004 at their playing fields. A new date of Sunday 4th September has been organised.
Chi My Ta, Community Fundraiser said, "This decision was extremely difficult to make. Everybody at Quarriers, including all our projects, were looking forward to getting together with the local community on this day. I would like to thank all of Quarriers projects, staff, local organisations and everybody in the community who all came together in organising the Gala Day. Thank you to everybody who turned up on Saturday 21st August only to find out that it had been postponed. I hope that people will be able to join Quarriers at our gala day on the new date of Saturday 4th September"
