Saathi is an organisation supporting women and children across Nepal and has been instrumental in promoting the rights of some of the most vulnerable in Nepalese society. Quarriers began involvement with Saathi in 2002 when it became apparent that we could offer assistance and expertise in gaining funding for some of their new initiatives.
Although based in Kathmandu, Saathi provides a range of services to families in some of the more remote rural areas as well. Quarriers' International Development worker has since 2003 been active in working in partnership with Saathi, assisting in the submission of grant applications, developing the organisation's publicity materials and website, and assisting with the growth and management of a consistently evolving project.
