Quarriers NASA in Saltcoats and Kilwinning provides supported accommodation for young men and women aged 16-25.
Our aim at NASA is to provide good quality accommodation within a safe environment and provide a useful support to enable young people to learn the skills which they need to live independently. An important part of the stay here involves support time with a designated Support Worker, who will provide practical and positive support to help maximise their independent living skills.
Our Kilwinning project has 5 beds, which are used to accommodate young women, and our Saltcoats project is a mixed project with 19 self-contained bedsits and 4 flats.
At NASA we work with our partners at North Ayrshire Council during the referral process and liase with them during and after this. We also have an Outreach Service that provides ongoing support to young people once they move into their own accommodation.
