Quarriers young person speaks at Equal Opportunities Committee

Yvette Hutcheson is a young person we support at our James Shields Project. She was invited to give evidence to the Equal Opportunities Committee at the Scottish Parliament last week, as part of their consideration of young people and homelessness.

Yvette did exceptionally well and is a great ambassador for Quarriers and for the issues facing young people experiencing homelessness. She really got key points across on what it's like to be a young person facing homelessness.

The video link below shows the entire meeting and Yvette speaks periodically throughout. However, she gives a good summary at around 1 hour 31 minutes which is near the end.
