The Adventure of a lifetime…Quarriers Mount Everest Challenge

The Key Facts -

• This 18 day trek departs the UK 31st October 2008
• Starting in Kathmandu we will make our way through the world’s highest mountain range to Everest Basecamp.
• There will be up to 30 people in our group, some come with friends but many travel alone. As soon as you register you’ll have opportunities to meet the other trekkers.
• The trek is designed to be achievable by anyone, but remember the fitter you are the more you will enjoy this Challenge.
• This trek reaches heights of 5,357m and covers 120km walking distance.
• To register we require a deposit of £395 now, along with your form.
• In addition we will ask you to raise another £2895 (+£50 insurance) of which £1395 will pay for the trek and £1500 will be donated to Quarriers. Of course if you wish to raise more we would be delighted!

This Challenge is not just about the trek itself. It’s also about raising money for Quarriers, one of Scotland’s leading social care charities.
