Adult Disability Care homes

For some adults with a disability, having access to 24 hour care is vital. Quarriers provides a safe, supportive environment for people who need higher levels of support.

Adult disability care homes in Scotland

Quarriers is a charity with a long history of care home provision. This gives us a real insight into the needs of adults with a disability and the best ways to provide care for them. Across Scotland, Quarriers runs specialised residential care home services for people with more complex levels of disability. Wherever possible we offer people care at home, but when someone requires 24 hour access to care, they know that Quarriers will be there for them.

Quarriers person-centred residential care

Putting people’s needs first is always at the forefront of the work we do. Quarriers’ person-centred approach to care for adults with a disability helps them lead richer, more fulfilled lives. Our staff really get to know the people in their care, which allows us to help them find jobs or courses, encourage their leisure pursuits and help them maintain or develop friendships. Extensive training gives our care home staff the skills to be like one of the family.

Quarriers run four care homes for adults with a disability in Scotland. Help us run our essential residential care services by fundraising for Quarriers.
