When you need advice, support or just a chat over a cuppa, Quarriers family centres are there for you.
Quarriers Family Centres are vibrant, buzzing places where the emphasis is on support and encouragement. We offer programmes of work for the whole family. There are parent support groups for mums and dads as well as health and wellbeing workshops. We organise activity groups for children which focus on fun through learning. All Quarriers family centres are built on the Government’s ‘Sure Start Children’s Centre’ principles. These challenge poverty, support vulnerable people and improve life chances.
Family-centred support services
Quarriers have been providing support in child and family centres for over 25 years. Our flagship family centre is in Ruchazie, in the East End of Glasgow. It’s been an excellent model for other family centres in Scotland and many similar organisations have based their support services on it. Our family-centred approach gives us the opportunity to work collaboratively with a number of partner organisations. At Quarriers we’re keen to share best practice and innovation to meet the needs of families and children.
