Support for people with epilepsy

At Quarriers we believe in working with the person not their condition. Living with epilepsy means just that – living. So Quarriers provides services that allow people to live fuller lives, independently or in a safe environment. For those with difficult to manage or intractable epilepsy our Scottish Epilepsy Centre provides assessment and treatments which are unique in Scotland. Our network of experienced Fieldworkers provide much-needed care and support in the family home or at drop-in sessions at local health centres and our supported living services provide the best in care for people with epilepsy.

How Quarriers can help you deal with epilepsy
For most people epilepsy can be controlled by the right combination of drugs. However you still might need help to cope with the condition and we offer flexible support right across the country. You might need clinical help at our epilepsy assessment centre. Maybe you, or a loved one, would benefit from 24 hour supported care in one of our specialist care homes. Perhaps you want to live your own way, in your own house, but need supported living to do that. Or it could be that you live independently but need the input of a fieldworker from time to time.
We can help with all of these things for people who have epilepsy. We have years of experience and our family-centred approach is driven by a goal to transform lives for the better.
