Support for young adults

Imagine having to care for a parent when you’re only 12, needing to find a place to live when you’re 14, or finding yourself drawn towards anti-social behaviour and in trouble with the police at 16. How would you cope when you haven’t developed the life skills yet?

What we do

Quarriers young adult services offer young people in difficult situations a place to turn to. We work with young people facing homelessness or exclusion from mainstream schools, providing short- and long-term accommodation as well as practical help and advice.

We address the home life issues which often lie behind individual difficulties. We take time with each child to tackle the problems they face while encouraging positive behaviour as well as offering support with education, employability, and addiction and self-harm issues.
