Our Awards

At Quarriers, we're really proud of all our achievements, and we have been successful in gaining several prestigious awards.

The William Quarrier Scottish Epilepsy Centre received a commendation at the Glasgow Institute of Architects Design Awards 2013. The centre has also been shortlisted in three categories at the 2015 Health Investor Awards. In April 2015, centre was awarded the EFQM 2* Award, which is based on a European model of Quality. The Centre is the only healthcare establishment in receipt of this award.

Our Volunteer Centre received a 'highly commended' award at the UK charity Awards in 2011 for their innovative approach to volunteering. They were also successful in gaining Investors in Volunteering accreditation in 2011.

Our digital inclusion service Go4IT received a Care Accolade in 2013 in the adults and older people category for its inclusive approach for adults with a disability and access to the internet. The service received a TalkTalk Digital Hero Award in 2015 and was a finalist in the 2014 Digital Leaders 100 Awards and 2014 Renfrewshire Chamber of Commerce awards.

Quarriers is a finalist in the Excellence in Marketing category at the Greenock Chamber of Commerce's 2015 Bee's Knees Awards.

We also like to celebrate innovation and achievement from within Quarriers. This helps us identify, support and share good practice. It also recognises teams who are providing quality services by sharing quality initiatives, practices and innovations and helps us identify, learn and therefore improve by building on these strengths.

This year's winners were:

  • Bronze Winner 2013 - South Lanarkshire Youth Justice Service
  • Silver Winner 2013 - Quarriers Family Support Service, Dumfries and Galloway
  • Gold Winner 2013 - Jim McDonald, Project Manager at Quarriers Paddocks Service
