Overview
Falkirk Children’s Rights is an independent service for any child or young person up to the age of 18 and care experienced young people up to the age of 26.
The service empowers children and young people to participate in decisions that affect your life. We promote, protect and uphold your rights ensuring your voice is heard and at the heart of decisions that impact on you.
How often you speak with us is your choice, but we will always be available to support you when you need it.
If you have any questions about your rights or need some help to speak about any concerns you are having, we can help.
The United Nations Convention on the Rights of the Child (UNCRC) ensures that children grow up healthy and safe, and that their views are taken into consideration in decisions that affect them.

Testimonials
“We as a family have valued Quarriers’ and Suzanne for their help and support and guidance over several months working with our young person and us as a family.
They have given our young person a voice and been able to articulate our young person’s views and opinions that they might not have been otherwise able to share with social workers about their views on being adopted.
They have been invaluable in helping support us as a family through the process. Services for young people are few and far between in this day and age which is a Shame when so many young people need that help and support. Keep up the fantastic work.”
“I think Children’s rights are really supportive and make you feel really comfortable to talk to them. Every time I’ve talked about things in the past, I have always felt judged, but Jude was really understanding.
Jude would do everything she could to find out information and she always did everything she could to explore more options. She always had my rights in mind. Jude made me feel more confident and comfortable about the full situation, throughout all the meetings I’ve had with her it became less worrying.
It’s a big relief to have someone help me through this situation, and it’s also helped me accept my past and made me become stronger, and just the fact that I know she will be there for me and with me through it all.”
