Alcohol support
Drinking above the recommended limits can lead to serious long-term health issues, affecting both your physical health and mental wellbeing. Studies consistently show that excessive alcohol consumption increases the likelihood of developing conditions like liver disease, heart problems, and mental health disorders such as depression and anxiety (NHS, 2023).
At Arrows, our approach is centred around your individual goals and needs. Whether you’re aiming to cut your drinking down to safer levels or seeking support for complete abstinence, our services are here to support you every step of the way. We offer personalised programmes tailored to your unique situation, including intensive support for people struggling with alcohol dependence.
We also provide drop-in sessions and peer group support, giving you the flexibility to choose what feels right for your recovery journey. Our commitment to your wellbeing extends beyond individual sessions: we offer recovery-focused projects that foster community involvement and support for family and friends concerned about your situation.
We’ll walk alongside you throughout your journey, providing the guidance and encouragement you need to achieve your goals. Please reach out to us: we’re here to help you take the first step towards a healthier and happier life.
We don’t believe in using scare tactics or just telling you to “say no”. Instead, we focus on building trust and giving you the support you need to overcome your drug problems. This includes different levels of help, from preventing harmful use to reducing heavy use, and working towards recovery.
Our experienced staff will meet with you in private, offering advice, support and guidance. We will also help you get fast access to treatment and other services you might need.
We will be with you every step of the way.
We offer drop-in sessions seven days a week offering support for people dealing with alcohol and/or drug use. In the early stages of recovery, our focus is on providing accurate information and advice, building trust, and ensuring your safety until you are ready to take further steps in your recovery journey.

Our goal is to support you every step of the way, offering personalised care and guidance as you work towards a healthier and more fulfilling life. If you’re ready to make positive changes or need support, please reach out – we’re here to help you achieve your goals.
