Support for young people

We offer young people in difficult situations a place to turn to. Quarriers works with young people facing homelessness, exclusion from mainstream schools or difficult family circumstances. We take time with each young person to tackle the problems they face while encouraging positive behaviour, as well as offering support with education, employability, and addiction and self-harm issues.

We also specialise in supporting young adults affected by learning disabilities, complex physical disabilities, acquired brain injury and autism, and provide support for carers of all ages.

  • support with addiction and self-harm issues

Young carers

Many carers don’t recognise that they need support, or indeed that they are carers. If you look after someone who could not manage without you, or if someone relies on you because of illness, their age, a disability or addiction, you are a carer.

We support carers of all ages by providing services specifically designed to help you in your caring role.

Youth housing

Quarriers youth housing support services are at the forefront of developing exciting and innovative models of work to ensure all young people receive the support they need at any given time.

We promote a culture in which young people actively influence how their service and the wider organisation operates, from being involved in recruitment of staff to commenting on organisational policy.
