Quarriers Finances 2016

Financial review

Overall incoming resources decreased by £0.5m to £41.7m. We continue to feel the effect of the increasing public sector deficit which has impacted on social care and health budgets across the UK.

Despite this, we have been successful in securing significant new services in Aberdeenshire and Moray. The fundraising team exceeded its income target, which is particularly encouraging in light of the competitive environment.

Future developments

In the context of increasing compliance costs, Quarriers Board of Trustees will implement a new Strategic Plan in 2017 which will focus on the continued delivery
of high-quality services at financially viable prices. A key component of this new strategy will be Project Evolution, an organisation-wide information system which will improve the way in which services are managed and delivered.
