What we do
Our Soft Play Room provides a dedicated space to burn off some energy in a fun, safe environment.
The Ladybird Room (0 -2 years) is open plan, with plenty of space for practising the key skills of tummy-time, sitting, crawling and toddling. A wide range of age appropriate toys provide plenty of stimulating play-time.
The Busy Bees Room (2-3 years) provides an encouraging environment for developing more advanced skills in a fun way. There are lots of opportunities to engage in a range of planned daily activities while also improving social interaction, motor skills, independence and communication.
We actively encourage children to make full use of the outdoor space available at the nursery. Our playground is a dedicated resource attached to the nursery, designed to provide a safe outdoor area for getting children out in the fresh air, while improving key physical competences and abilities.
Our fully qualified, highly trained staff have a wealth of experience in the care of early years children and take great pride in the nurturing environment provided at the nursery.
All children attending the nursery are allocated a Key Worker, creating a close bond in order to aid the settling-in process, establishing continuity of support and providing an ongoing process of evaluation, monitoring and feedback.
We encourage and inform our staff by offering learning opportunities to develop their understanding, knowledge and skills. Ongoing training and regular supervision are important for the professional development of staff who work in the nursery.
