Overview
The service is for adults aged 18 years plus who have learning disabilities and associated disabilities such as epilepsy. They provide support to adults with dementia, acquired brain injury, and mental health support.
The service is delivered within people’s own homes and in the local community. It will be arranged at a time that suits their requirements and can range from small packages to full 24-hour care which can include a sleepover or waked nightshift.
Our aim is to promote independence and inclusion in the local community, develop relationships and friendships through person-centred approaches, and support people to be safe and healthy.
We have a comprehensive training plan for each staff member to participate in and we aim to recruit staff that are caring and sensitive, whilst being able to maintain professionalism and have a positive outlook.
