The young people supported are generally offered their own tenancy by a Registered Social Landlord (RSL) as a Section 5 Referral as a homeless person or as part of the Leaving Care Protocol Statement of best practice.
What we do
- actively engage with young people in the north and west area of Glasgow to prevent homelessness occurring
- support young people to live independently within their own homes
- support young people to access a range of employment, training and educational opportunities
The support we offer varies with the needs of individual young people. We work with each individual to assist in finding suitable accommodation and build essential life skills which enable young people to maintain their own home.
We offer information and advice as well as assisting with budgeting, benefit claims, health matters, emotional wellbeing, cooking skills and other required support on a day-to-day basis.
