  • Vocational support within educational settings

Our staff

Our base at 62 Viewfield Road, Ayr, provides office accommodation for the Project Manager, Depute Project Manager, three Team Leaders and two Administrators. We employ over 50 support staff.

Homelife Ayr also promotes and hosts regular inclusion events that enable the people who use our service to get together, build friendships and enjoy different activities.

Inclusion

We believe that the people who use the service should be fully involved in the development of the service and therefore encourage regular developemnt days whereby there are opportunities to put forward your ideas and comments on how Homelife Ayr can develop the care and support wew provide. We also encourage people who use the service to become actively involved in the recruitment and retention of our staff, and feel that this ensures we recruit the right people to provide the right support.

We recruit staff who match Quarriers values and who have a high interest and passion in supporting people. Quarriers are committed to developing the skills of our staff, and therefore promote and encourage a range of specialist training tailored to each person’s needs. Central to all training is recognising the potential in every individual, and emphasising our capacity to help bring positive change in people’s lives.
